Medisolv Leads the Way in Maryland’s Digital Quality Reporting Initiative

Columbia, MD, (March 24, 2025) — Medisolv, a leader in quality management software, is at the forefront of Maryland’s pioneering digital quality reporting initiative, enhancing transparency and improving patient care.

In a groundbreaking initiative, Medisolv partnered with the Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) and the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) to become the first state in the country to successfully receive Electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) data from Maryland hospitals. This collaboration aims to enhance public health data reporting and transparency, ultimately delivering more equitable and efficient care.

Since June 2022, Medisolv has played a crucial role in collecting and transmitting eCQMs from hospitals to the HSCRC on a quarterly basis. This partnership leverages Medisolv's advanced technical infrastructure and deep understanding of the Maryland model, ensuring a seamless and efficient data collection process. The initiative has already led to significant improvements in data transparency and is set to expand with additional measures in the coming years.
