Medisolv Achieves 100% Success Rate for eCQM Submissions to CMS and The Joint Commission

Columbia, MD, March 17, 2016 — Medisolv, a recognized leader in quality reporting and management solutions, is proud to announce that it has successfully submitted eCQM data in the CMS Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR), The Joint Commission ORYX® initiative for quality improvement and the Physician Quality Reporting Systems (PQRS) programs for 100 percent of participating clients. All hospital and eligible professional submissions for the 2016 performance year were completed ahead of the March 13 and March 31, 2017 deadlines respectively. More than 200,000 QRDA files covering in excess of 250 separate submission entities were completed.

“Our goal was to submit for 100 percent of our clients well in advance of the deadline and we were able to achieve that goal,” said Ken McCormick, Executive Vice President of Client Services at Medisolv. “In fact, by working proactively with clients throughout the year we were able to submit Q3 data for 75 percent of our clients before December 1 of 2016. In 2017, hospitals will also be required to submit eCQM data electronically to CMS and, for the first time, to The Joint Commission as well.
