2020 MIPS Proposed Rule: Key Highlights

What’s in store for MIPS 2020? Earlier this week, CMS dropped the 2020 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) proposed rule. The rule provides a pretty good snapshot of the future for MIPS over the next several years. They are evening out the category distribution and upping the threshold requirements. Also of note, they plan to post 2018 MIPS performance to Physician Compare. Keep in mind that these are just the proposed changes. The final rule will come out in late fall.

We've provided the links to the CMS proposed rule documents below.

If you don’t have time to read through all 1,700+ pages, 🙄 we've put together highlights of the proposed MIPS changes. Remember when you partner with a MIPS vendor like Medisolv, our clinical experts work closely with you—every step of the way—to help you gain a better understanding of the changes to MIPS and guide you through a successful MIPS submission year after year.
