2020 MIPS Proposed Rule: Key Highlights

What’s in store for MIPS 2020? Earlier this week, CMS dropped the 2020 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) proposed rule. The rule provides a pretty good snapshot of the future for MIPS over the next several years. They are evening out the category distribution and upping the threshold requirements. Also of note, they plan to post 2018 MIPS performance to Physician Compare. Keep in mind that these are just the proposed changes. The final rule will come out in late fall.
