Why benchmarking matters

Since 2022, CMS has publicly reported eCQM performance rates for all hospitals for the Inpatient Quality Reporting program. Granted, this information is a bit hard to find (we show you where to find it). But don’t let that fool you. CMS is only going to escalate its public reporting efforts from here on out.
