CMS has mandated new measures for the Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) program that focus on providing equitable care for all patients that you serve. The new measures are the Hospital Commitment to Health Equity measure (required 2023) and two Social Drivers of Health measures (required 2024).

The health community at large is committed to achieving equitable care but it can be difficult to know where to start. Medisolv has recently launched their Equitable Care Module to address hospitals' new health equity requirements. This module will help hospitals meet new regulatory requirements for health equity measures in the CMS Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) and The Joint Commission’s ORYX quality improvement initiative programs.

This module allows hospitals to stratify all eCQM results by race, ethnicity, gender, and payer.
