Medisolv Achieves another Milestone in Electronic Quality Reporting
Columbia, MD, November 1, 2016 — Medisolv, Inc., a recognized leader in Quality Reporting and Management Solutions, is proud to announce that it has successfully submitted over 100,000 patient level QRDA I files to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the mandatory Electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) reporting in the 2016 Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) program. Medisolv has maintained its leadership in eCQM reporting from the beginning as the only vendor to have successfully submitted patient data to both The Joint Commission and CMS in the first year of the electronic quality reporting pilot.
For the first time in 2016, hospitals are required to electronically submit their quality measures to successfully meet all of the IQR program requirements. This historic achievement is just the beginning of Medisolv’s submission process. Medisolv intends to complete the submission process for their entire client base before the final submission date of February 28, 2017.
“We are very proud of this achievement. I want to congratulate our team for their dedication and hard work. We also thank our clients for working closely with us throughout the year. Such a large number of submissions in such a short amount of time would not be possible without their active collaboration. Together we have demonstrated that electronic submission of accurate quality data is achievable” said Dr. Zahid Butt, CEO of Medisolv.
In 2017, hospitals will also be required to submit eCQM data electronically to CMS and, for the first time, to The Joint Commission as well.
