Medisolv Blog [E-BOOK] Your 2021 MIPS Requirements

[E-BOOK] Your 2021 MIPS Requirements

[E-BOOK] Your 2021 MIPS Requirements

CMS is attempting to streamline the options for reporting to the Quality Payment Program in 2022. As a result, provider organizations will need to find a new way of capturing and reporting to MIPS (Merit-Based Payment System) by January 1, 2022.

Whether you are responsible for one group of physicians or many groups (like an ACO), the key this year will be to compile provider data from multiple EHR sources.

But MIPS is complicated, and these new options make it even more complicated to sort out which reporting option is the best for your situation.

So, to help you, we’ve created our annual MIPS eBook. We’ve updated the guide this year to better explain the reporting options based on which provider types you are responsible for reporting.

We also have a section in here dedicated to the CMS Web Interface reporting method, which is being retired by the start of 2022. The big takeaway here is that when you transition away from this reporting method, you’ll now have to collect data from all patients and all payers. It’s a big shift and thus our discussion about data aggregation as the key to MIPS success this year.

If your organization needs help making the switch to a new reporting method, find out more about our MIPS software here or contact us for a demo.
