Medisolv CEO Dr. Zahid Butt Wins HIMSS 2023 Changemaker in Health Policy Influencer Category Award

Columbia, MD, January 27, 2023 — Medisolv is pleased to announce that the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has named CEO Dr. Zahid Butt a 2023 HIMSS Changemaker in Health award recipient in the category of Policy Influencer. Now in its second year, this awards program recognizes senior healthcare executives who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in their ongoing commitment to harnessing the power of information and technology to positively transform health and healthcare. As a winner, Dr. Butt will be honored at the annual HIMSS global conference in Chicago April 17-21, 2023.

Dr. Butt was chosen as the winner via open ballot on the HIMSS website, with input from the HIMSS Board of Directors. He was selected for demonstrating significant leadership and extraordinary contributions to HIMSS, including chapters, communities, task forces, or other volunteer opportunities related to driving forward government policy.

Dr. Butt is an industry leader and pioneer in digital quality measurement. He has served on many technical expert panels for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and The Joint Commission (TJC). As a HIMSS member for more than 20 years, he has served on committees and task forces and currently chairs the HIMSS Quality and Safety Task Force that provides input to the HIMSS Public Policy Committee.
