[E-BOOK] Hybrid Measure Quick Start Guide

CMS has mandated that the new Hybrid Hospital-Wide All-Cause Readmission measure go from voluntary to mandatory over the next several years. In fact, last year, CMS held a pilot program during which 80 hospitals submitted the hybrid measure data to CMS. 2020 MIPS Proposed Rule: Key Highlights

What’s in store for MIPS 2020? Earlier this week, CMS dropped the 2020 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) proposed rule. The rule provides a pretty good snapshot of the future for MIPS over the next several years. They are evening out the category distribution and upping the threshold requirements. Also of note, they plan to post 2018 MIPS performance to Physician Compare. Keep in mind that these are just the proposed changes. The final rule will come out in late fall.

MIPS 2019 is in full swing! In case you missed it, there are several changes to the rules around MIPS eligibility this year. If you weren’t eligible last year you may be this year.
